The first delivery of advanced U.S. weaponry for Israel has arrived by plane as Israeli troops continue to amass at the Gaza border Tuesday night in the largest reservist call-up in the country’s history. Israel has reportedly exchanged mortar fire with Syria, and there is growing concern more countries may become involved in the Israel-Hamas conflict.
At least 14 American citizens have been killed in the war between Hamas and Israel, which began Saturday when the Palestinian militant group launched a surprise attack on the country. More than 1,900 people have reportedly been killed in total.
