ABC News America is reporting that Donald Trump allegedly discussed US nuclear submarines with foreign nationals, including an Australian businessman.

The ABC report potentially implicates one of Australia’s richest men, Anthony Pratt.

ABC News America has alleged that documents put forward to the special prosecutor were investigating whether Anthony Pratt had been given classified nuclear submarine information and had then passed on that information.

The allegation in the ABC News America report is that Anthony Pratt was told this information while meeting with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago in April 2021, and then, in trying to make conversation, he mentioned the Australian AUKUS submarine deal.

According to the report, Pratt said that in that conversation Donald Trump then leaned forward and gave him classified information about US submarines, the supposed number of exact US nuclear warheads they carry continuously, and exactly how close the submarines can get to Russian submarines without being detected.

ABC also reported emails and conversations after the Mar-a-Lago meeting.

Mr Pratt described Donald Trump’s remarks to about 45 other people, including six journalists, 11 of his company’s employees, 10 Australian officials, and three former Australian prime ministers.
