In the last week, a brand-new volcanic eruption occurred at a recently formed island within the nation of Tonga. Elsewhere, in the Azores, an unusually strong volcanic earthquake swarm occurred on the island of Terceira, whose volcano is still at a raised alert level. And in Indonesia, an unusual but weak earthquake swarm occurred at the Toba supervolcano. This video will discuss these stories and list the 46 volcanoes which are actively erupting around the planet.
